Refreshed also the scene of sending my elementary school teaches off to Japan from the Karenkou 花蓮港harbor. Indeed to see for the first time, the paper, permission to leave Taiwan is much like the one I have received years ago to allow for study abroad.
Prof. Takasaka is one of the greatest people I know of. He is truly a respectable Samurai lived in a different time and location. He took it as mission to contribute his whole life for Taiwan. It is good to know that his beloved only daughter and only granddaughter are still happily living in the States today.
ChoSanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8811556140606524073.post-72063960797796114212009-12-20T04:03:43.318+08:002009-12-20T04:03:43.318+08:00"They settled in Hua-lien area in a brand new..."They settled in Hua-lien area in a brand new village named 賀田村 (the village is still there today under the same name)." A lot of Japanese are settled down the eastern coast, south of Hualien.Patrick Cowsillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12904899672214340947noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8811556140606524073.post-41827362702831296952009-12-20T04:00:26.015+08:002009-12-20T04:00:26.015+08:00Great, great post. Did he go to Japan? I thought he came back to Taiwan, where he lived for five years until his death in 1979.Patrick Cowsillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12904899672214340947noreply@blogger.com
